Edward Cullen? In MY Saints Row? It’s more likely than you’d think.

Finding out how people reached your website is a funny thing.  Reading into statistics on your site can provide some startling information about the sort of people who are viewing your content. I was going through my typical morning routine and decided to check out our site stats when I came across the gem above – a pie chart of searches that led to our website on July 1st.

Buh doesn't even begin to describe it

It’s not like I haven’t seen weird google queries before and all things considered this isn’t all that bad but it stuck out to me.  I guess playing as Edward would be pretty amusing but what was our visitor’s motivation? I couldn’t help but ponder why they put any real thought into making Edward Cullen in Saints Row2. Did they think he could run with some thugged out dudes, or was it the appeal of having the poster boy of annoying pouty protagonists getting launched by an SUV full of ninjas?  Who knows?  Maybe it’s better off a mystery.  To be fair I can’t say I haven’t made some weird characters for my own amusement.  My personal favorite?  “Guy with Hawaiin shirt, no pants, and a traffic cone on his head”.  As mentioned on our podcast Arien is guilty too with his obese pepperoni nipple hooker. Perhaps we have no room to judge after all.

By the way, what the hell guys, how many of you are legitimately searching for “left 5 dead” and “left 5 dead 2″ – it’s a typo right?  I’m kind of afraid to know the truth behind some of these strange searches so we choose to remain ignorant and just enjoy the laugh we get out of it.

Bottom line on this one? Twilight is a cultural phenomenon that anyone who isn’t a lust crazy 40 year old woman or braindead teen would love to forget. One person looking for instructions on making Edward Cullen is more than enough.

What would Coach surf for anyway?
