Yes, we do love other people. Contrary to popular belief the GNSU crew is not a hateful bunch of geeks – we really do care about others! (Plus it’s an excuse to post this bitchin’ Scott Pilgrim image)
So we finally started linking to some people we thought you should check out, some fun time blogs that we feel compliment us by touching on some things we don’t talk about on our site. Check them out below:
Podcast 8 is here - we give our initial thoughts on Crackdown 2, discuss the Blizzard “Real ID” controversy, and more as we try to deal with the intense heatwaves from THE SUN.
Today our pals at Konami announced the multiplayer (with 5 pals of your own!) Castlevania title is headed for XBLA on August 4th. Only a month to go before we can finally traverse through levels “inspired by the worlds of Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia via online co-op play”. More info after the jump.
I do… except it’s Tuesday but with a three day weekend today is this week’s Monday and that means a return to work like the rest of you poor souls. As the rest of the crew is recovering from the weekend we won’t have much up until tomorrow starting with our new podcast. We’ll announce the winners of our Killing Floor contest (I almost typed Left 4 Dead 2) as well as discuss plenty of fun things so tune in.
In the mean time I’ve done some music inspired heavily by both The Protomen and Danger as well as a host of other fantastic chip tune artists like Anamanaguchi. I only have two tracks so far but I intend to do a lot of stuff in this style that fits together album style.
A conversation with my pal Angel inspired this image. If Bros had their own game it would probably be like this. Of course it would be redundant because you’d end up playing an 8-bit simulation of Madden in it.
Finding out how people reached your website is a funny thing. Reading into statistics on your site can provide some startling information about the sort of people who are viewing your content. I was going through my typical morning routine and decided to check out our site stats when I came across the gem above – a pie chart of searches that led to our website on July 1st.
This man has harnessed the incredible power of V Neck t-shirts to cover the Pokemon theme a capella. Pokemon is pretty awesome and v necks are comfortable. Winning combination. He definitely has some talent so watch this video.
